Abstinence: Not just for teens anymore!

The federal government is interested in expanding abstinence only programs to include adults up to age 29. And if they're so gung-ho on encouraging marital sex as the only appropriate sex, why is this administration so frightened of gay marriage? Wouldn't that be a way to encourage gays to save themselves for marriage?

My dad repeatedly tells me he votes Republican because he thinks the government should trust its citizens to do the right thing and not get involved in everything. If there's one thing that a "small" government does, it's try to run the sex lives of your average 28 year old.

So I guess that if you get to 30 and you're not married, they've just given up hope for you. Or maybe they feel sorry for you and grant you a pity lay. Seems strange that what is presented as a moral issue has an expiration date.

I love the pity lay concept, sarah.

Ohhhhh, this whole thing just gets me every five minutes thinking, "And another thing!" about it. Does it make sense on any level?

cuz, silly, gays aren't posed to be having sex anyway!

on a side note, since i'm over 29, can i indulge w/o fear of judgment?

thishonestly just boggles my already addled brain.

Apparently your brief time back in Cascadia has already sadly warped your understanding of this critical issue. Marriage is for a man and a woman. Gay sex is an abomination. Gay marriage is a liberal plot to undermine America and make it more vulnerable to terrorists. Encouraging homosexuals to wait until they get married before they have sex does not help any of this and will still result in Divine Wrath like Hurricane Katrina and Everybody Loves Raymond reruns. I'm surprised you don't understand this.
