The enemy of my enemy is my friend

A half hour or so before tip-off for the Duke-Clemson game at Cameron this afternoon, they were showing the end of the UNC-Maryland game. Where Maryland knocks off the #1 ranked, undefeated Tarheels. Cameras showed Duke and Clemson fans high-fiving each other.

Ah, schadenfreude. How I love thee.

ps. We totally own Clemson!

The year I went to the ACC Tournament, Clemson cheerleaders ran over to the Duke section and handed us orange pompoms before the Clemson-UNC game.

These days, though, I'm finding Clemson and Maryland more irritating than UNC. I don't really bother rooting against Carolina unless they're playing Duke. (And in men's lacrosse, I'm not sure I'd even care about that.)

Granted, I'm sure a lot of people are amused that American beat a team that won in Chapel Hill.

Even better, Brown beat American by 13, which beat Maryland by 12, which beat UNC by 2. Which explains why Roy Williams is afraid to schedule Brown. Fear the Bruins.

Isn't that like bragging about beating your 4-year-old cousin at Trivial Pursuit?

what's wrong with beating your four year old cousin at Trivial Pursuit? A victory is a victory.
