How Well Do You Know Your World?
This Geography Quiz is super-addictive. I got to level 10... I'm betting SH can beat me!

Okay, the Galápagos Islands kicked my butt so I could not advance past level 5. Thanks for the link, I will try again. :)
So glad we could meet for dinner and I'm already through disk 2 of the audio book.

Yeah, Vanuatu was the death of me.
That was awesome. I got through level 11 but on level 12 they started throwing cities at me I've never heard of. Bodo, Norway? Oh, and I was 8,000 miles away from the Marquesas Islands. That's still better than Christopher Columbus, though, so I think I deserve partial credit. Totally awesome.
Damn you and your addicting educational games!
(and way to go Andy on that score!)
I had to click on your link because my bar-trivia team's downfall seems to be geography. But we're never given maps to look at. More like, biggest lake that has.., smallest country to..., etc.
I had problems with the actual game. I couldn't find Hawaii. Not that I didn't know where it was, but when I looked where it should be, all I saw was a vast blue sea. Finally could make out an itty bitty dot. Probably my monitor's - trying it again at home.
And on a few I swear my pin and the game pin matched up and it said I was 100km off!
Anybody see if there was something that would make the map bigger?
(oh yeah, Level 6 for me - probably would be around that even if I could see Hawaii)

Level 6 is now my max. There are just so many crazy islands out there and it's harder than I thought to find remote places in the U.S. without the state boundries.
Definitely addictive!

Go Andy!
I TOLD you it was addicting! Glad to see my friends are as nerdy as I am!
Yeah, level 10.
I'm horrible with Africa. I never know what's on the west coast and what's on the east coast.
Quinn why did I only get to level seven? And that's only cuz I've started teahing western civ. I am ASHAMED!!
On a side note, I'm missing y'all today.
Ah, true to form Andy beat me at geography :). I played this twice at Gino's when he linked it; I got through level nine ... but I was laughing pretty hard by the end of level nine: "you were 5000 miles off" (the computer nicely didn't add, "again, you dumbshit!")"--you do know this is the planet earth, right?"
Well, sez I, I don't know, if all these f'r'nrs would frikkin' name their cities something _pronouncable_ I might be able to read them fast enough to friggin' _react_ ;)!! By level 8 I was cruising on language-group recognition and speed, rather than accuracy. Darn those Eurpoeans and all their randomly distributed colonial archipelagos!
Whew! Finally made it to 11. And yes, Andy, they get pretty damn ridiculous at that point.
